Bikers C.A.R.E. is a community organization based in Florida that supports children and families in crisis. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, it partners with CarePortal, a platform that connects local churches, businesses, and community groups with vetted needs submitted by child welfare agencies, schools, and other organizations. Bikers C.A.R.E. leverages CarePortal’s care-sharing technology to respond to urgent requests, such as providing essential items like beds, clothing, or car seats, to prevent children from entering foster care and to support family reunification.
What Does a CarePortal Champion Like Bikers C.A.R.E. Do?
Bikers C.A.R.E. became a CarePortal Champion in August of 2025. Bikers C.A.R.E. mobilizes our network of bikers, volunteers, and partners to respond to these urgent requests. We act as the "boots on the ground," coordinating resources, delivering items, and building relationships that foster hope and stability. Our unique approach leverages the passion and reach of the biking community to make an immediate, tangible impact on children's lives.Bikers C.A.R.E. currently collaborates with local network leaders to address high-priority needs in west Central Florida (with the vision to expand the network across the state and then, the nation), mobilizing its members to deliver resources efficiently. The organization’s mission aligns with CarePortal’s goal of fostering collective community action to make a tangible impact on vulnerable children and families.
The Impact Bikers C.A.R.E. Has Made To Date
To date, we have assisted 11 children and their families with an economic impact of $21,636! (thru December, 2025). Think of what we could do together with your help!
Become A Bikers C.A.R.E. Child Champion!
A Child Champion is an individual supporter of the Bikers C.A.R.E. mission - to end abuse in our communities and to come to the aid of children and families recovering from abuse. While we are currently focused on the Florida counties in the 5th Judicial Circuit (Marion, Citrus, Hernando, Lake, and Sumter) and our home county, Pasco, it is our vision to expand our efforts across the state and then the nation.It doesn't matter where you live or even whether you ride; you CAN make a difference by becoming a Child Champion! And if there are five or more Child Champions in a given area, we will encourage you to become a team that focuses on the needs in YOUR community through our network.

What Does It Take To Become A Child Champion?
Making a difference is easy. By registering as a Child Champion, you agree to donate (at least) $60. That's only $5 a month. But that small amount makes a HUGE difference in children's lives. Imagine your commitment to keeping a child out of the foster care system, coming to the aid of a grandmother taking care of her daughter's children, or providing therapy resources to a child survivor?There will also be calls for your personal touch as a volunteer in assisting these families when the need arises in your community.

Bikers C.A.R.E. Child Champions are awarded a special pin they can wear proudly on their riding vest or everyday clothing, letting the world know they are doing their part to support our most precious resource.
In addition, Child Champions receive a monthly newsletter to keep them informed of the progress these efforts are making, the status of all our programs, and upcoming events we are hosting or attending.
